My name is Meghan Hollister, and I created this page to create a resource pool from my adventures as a Technology and Digital Arts teacher. I encourage any and all sharing and feedback, and invite you along this educational journey with me.
A little bit about me:
I’ve always had a background in varied forms of integrated, tech-based, and varying creative art and making forms. In 2011, I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Fine Art, and explored a busy freelance creative career that included, but wasn’t limited to large-scale public art, art education, digital photography and video, mixed-media art, web design, and installation.
In 2018, I completed my Master’s in Education. I currently work as a Technology and Digital Arts Instructor for a small K-12 school in Iowa. When I’m not teaching, you can finding me creating other things: Thai food, strange vegetarian dishes, or lost somewhere outside: hiking, gardening, writing, foraging, and doodling.
I’ve always enjoyed being involved within my community. I have experience teaching Midwest entities such as The Figge Art Museum, VSA Iowa, and The QC Co-lab. I have also completed public art works for The City of Davenport, and Palmer College of Chiropractic. I love participating in local collaborative learning environments, workshops, and events. Do not hesitate to reach out to me for collaboration in a creative project.
This website is dedicated to sharing that experience, as well as providing sound resources, and a landing space for other teachers to share their ideas and thoughts regarding using technology to enrich their teaching.
